Bloemenband is the data controller of your data. Bloemenband® considers your privacy very important and will process your data confidentially and in full compliance with all rules and requirements of the AVG. This privacy statement states which of your data is (potentially) being processed and why. If you have any questions about it, please contact the email address above.

This may be data that you yourself have passed on, but also data that Bloemenband itself obtains from the trade register, the Chamber of Commerce or other public sources such as the Internet.

3. Principles of processing personal data

Your personal data will only be processed if permitted under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and for the following purposes:

1. Bloemenband wants to be able to contact you
When you contact Bloemenband® about a possible order, some of your data will be stored. Think of your first and last name, possible company name, phone number and email address. This allows Bloemenband to reach you and maintain contact with you.

2. Bloemenband wants to send you a quote
Also for sending quotes, your contact information is kept. Contact information also includes data such as your national insurance number, company name, Chamber of Commerce number, etc. This is a legitimate interest of Bloemenband®, which outweighs your right to privacy.

4. Bloemenband wants to send you an invoice
Your contact and bank details are also kept for the purpose of preparing the invoice. Contact information includes data such as your company name, if any, Chamber of Commerce number, etc.

5. Bloemenband® must keep your data for its financialadministration
If you are invoiced by Bloemenband®, it is obliged under legal regulations (e.g. the legal obligation to keep records) to keep your data for at least 7 years. Think again of contact and bank details and if applicable your company name and KVK/BTW number.

6. Bloemenband wants to inform you about changes
Think for example about important changes in legal documents. Bloemenband needs your contact information (name and email) in order to send it to you.

7. Bloemenband wants to keep your review to post on its website and/or socials
If you agree, Bloemenband® will share your name and review, for example. Bloemenband® may also post your review (anonymously) on social media.

8. Bloemenband wants to send you a newsletter
If you have signed up for the newsletter, Bloemenbanden stores your e-mail address and name. You can unsubscribe from this at any time.

4. Retention period of personal data

Bloemenband never keeps your data longer than necessary. So it may also keep your data for a shorter period than the retention periods below:

5. Sharing your personal data

Normally, your data will not be shared with third parties. At least certainly not for commercial purposes. What is possible, however, is that Bloemenband is required to share your data under a legal regulation. Furthermore, your data is shared with Bloemenband®’s host server (Strato) and WordPress. Of course, they too are bound by all rules from the AVG. Your data may also be shared with a third party engaged by Bloemenband® (e.g., a VA, collection agency or bookkeeper).

Bloemenband® has entered into processing agreements with processors and subprocessors to ensure the security of your data.

Some parties are located outside the EU (e.g. WordPress). your data may be processed in America and/or other countries where these companies have their cloud storage and servers and/or backups.

6. Your Rights

Of course, you can always check with Bloemenband to see what personal data is kept on you. If you do not agree with something, you can submit a request for restriction, rectification, addition or deletion. You also have the right to information and portability. Finally, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

Bloemenband® is obliged to carry out your request within 1 month and let you know that this has been done, unless this is not required by the AVG.

If you disagree with how Bloemenband® handles your personal data, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority (AP). Of course it is fine to first come out of this together by mutual agreement.

7. Changes to this privacy statement

This privacy statement may need to be changed due to new regulations or Bloemenband® offering new services. You can always find the current statement on Bloemenband®’s website, and if a change applies directly to you, you will hear about it.
